About us
Holder’s Music is a music store in downtown Ringgold, Georgia specializing in string instrument and dance lessons. Music lessons include fiddle, guitar, mandolin, banjo, and steel guitar.
We also buy, sell, and trade instruments.
The story begins with two brothers, a passion for music, and a love of the Ringgold community.
Trevor and Garrett holder began playing music at 12 and 14, taking immense interest in the sounds and musical stylings of bluegrass artists such as Don Reno, Earl Scruggs, Ralph Stanley and Bill Monroe. They began their music careers, taking lessons at a little place called Lone Mountain Music in downtown Ringgold. Since their time as students, Trevor has created a living traveling and sharing bluegrass around the world. Meanwhile, Garrett has been curating an inclusive and welcoming environment that makes all levels of musicians feel like they are part of the scene right here in the local music community. All these years later, they are bringing back the music in Ringgold, where their own stories began.
